Okay so let’s face it, we all want clearer, fresher and younger-looking skin. This can easily be achieved without spending tons of money on expensive products and cosmetic procedures. Here are a few things that you can start doing today that will give you clearer, fresher, vibrant AF looking skin:
01
keep it clean
Keeping your skin clean should be your number one priority. Use a gentle cleanser morning and night to rid the skin of dirt and grime. Also, with face masks clearly here to stay, it is super important to wear a clean face mask every single day! Do not re-wear the same face mask over and over. (You wouldn’t re-wear your under wear would you? The same rule should go for your mask!). Wear a clean disposable mask or wash your cloth masks regularly to avoid build-up of dirt and break outs on your skin.
02
use toner
After cleansing your skin, gently pat it dry with a clean towel. Spray a fine toning mist over your face to close the pores while they are clean. Wait a few seconds for the mist to dry on your face.
03
moisturise & spf
Apply a small amount of moisturiser over your entire face and neck. A moisturiser that contains antibacterial ingredients like tea tree oil and lavender essential oil are ideal for acne prone skin. These ingredients are gentle and very effective at clearing the skin from blemishes. Don’t forget to apply SPF 50! An oil free sunscreen will be ideal.

04
get some zzzz...
Get plenty of good, restful sleep! This will directly affect the state of your skin. Between seven to nine hours should be adequate but will be differ for each person. Too little sleep will eventually result in problems such as dark circles and saggy eyebags. #notcute. Get some zzzz babe!
05
satin sheets
Sleep with satin pillowcases and wash them regularly! The satin can help curb acne breakouts and by keeping your sheets clean, there is less opportunity for bacteria to grow on your skin while you sleep. It is basically science.

06
eat your greens
Eating healthy = clear skin. Foods that are easily digested will help your system to keep your skin nourished and promote fresh, new cell growth. Eats lots of fruits and veggies and drink lots and lots of water too!
07
fish oil
Take a fish oil supplement daily. The fish oil helps eliminate toxins from the body and it contains Vitamin A which is great for your skin.
08
exfoliate
Exfoliate with a body scrub once a week. Start at your feet and work upwards towards the heart. This will help to eliminate toxins. Doing it in the opposite direction will push the toxins back into your system. Use a very gentle facial scrub or exfoliator on your face and neck.
09
disprin face mask
Try a Disprin face mask! Turns out that Disprins are not only good for that headache but can be beneficial for acne prone skin too. Crush about 15 disprin tablets and add 1 teaspoon of water to create a paste. Apply to a cleansed face and leave it for twenty minutes to work its way into the skin. Rinse off with warm water and apply a light moisturizer. Do this weekly until your breakout has cleared.
10
get your glow on
Get out into the fresh air and take a walk, ride a bike, and just have fun! The exercise will boost your immune system and your skin
will love you for it. Sweaty skin is glowy skin. Just remember your SPF!
