Why is her hair so big you ask? Because it is full of secrets!!! Just kidding, but there are a few secrets that all women with really great hair have. Below are some of those secrets for healthier, shiny, amazing hair.

Use the right brush

You can prevent unnecessary hair damage by using the right kind of hairbrush. Only comb your wet hair with a wide-tooth comb, combing from root to end, but avoid touching the root. Detangling wet hair with a hard steel comb can create a lot of damage, so rather try to avoid that.

Eat the right foods

Eat the right foods for shiny, healthy hair. Your hair is a reflection of what you put inside your body. A good balanced, nutritious, and healthy diet will do more to make your hair shine than any shampoo or conditioner. Drink eight to ten glasses of water a day too; hair is 25% water, so don’t let yours go thirsty!

put down the heat styler!

After washing, air dry your hair after using an absorbent towel to soak up the excess moisture, but don’t rub hard. If possible, try to reduce heat styling like blow-drying, flat irons, curling irons or hot rollers. Artificial heating will leave your hair brittle and damaged over time. If you do use heat styling, use a protective spray! 

visit your hairdresser every 3 months

Go visit your hairdresser every 3 months for a fresh cut to get rid of damaged split ends. Also, if your budget allows it you can do a Mycro Keratin treatment for even better results. Supplements such as Vitamin B6, zinc will help too. Eliminating stress and getting plenty of sleep may work just as well. Just note that it will not cure an underlying condition, so if you suspect that you might suffer from a more serious condition, go chat to your doctor.

Sleep on a satin pillowcase. Ditch those cotton pillowcases and rather go for satin. This helps the hair to keep moisture locked in during the night and also you will wake up with smoother hair free of tangles. The satin is just overall better for your hair health in the long run.
